What We Believe

What we believe about the Gospel:

The Gospel: the word means “good news” or “glad tidings” – The Scripture contain four accounts which tell the story of the life of Jesus Christ with a view to persuade all who hear to believe, i.e., to place their trust in what Christ accomplished in his redemptive task for the salvation of mankind. (John 20:30-31)

The good news reflects the announcement that sinners can be reconciled to their Creator through the provision made by Christ’s sacrifice. His sacrifices as the Lamb of God reverses the curse brought on by Adam’s sin and the judgment that comes as a consequence of personal sins/transgressions. It is the fulfillment of the promises made by God in the Garden of Eden and through Abraham, that the Messiah, who would come through the nation of Israel, would be the Savior and the Light to all the nations.
