About me

David was raised in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. He was converted to Christ while a student at Western Carolina University where he also met his wife Gail. Gail was raised in Smyrna, GA, and Robbinsville. She earned her degree in Social Work at WCU. David graduated from WCU, in 1975, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Ft. Worth, TX, in 1978, and has pastored churches in Texas and North Carolina. While serving as pastor, David also taught for eight years at Fruitland Bible Institute, NC, and then served in training missionaries and promoting remote area missions for twenty-four years. He has served as pastor of Grace Fellowship since its beginning in 1993. David and Gail were married in 1973, and have three married children and ten grandchildren. They enjoy the everyday and eternal blessings of God, their grandchildren, Sophie (their Biewer Terrier), backyard bird-watching, the arts, old movies, and Auburn football.

About me

Josh was born and raised in Robbinsville. He had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home. However, his sinful nature corrupted this blessing and turned it into a source of pride and self-righteousness. He was in his early twenties before the Lord showed him the folly of his self-confidence, and enabled him to place his trust, and rest his confidence, solely upon the finished work of Christ. Not long after (2006) Josh began attending Grace Fellowship with his family. He and his wife Melissa, and their (eventual) seven children have been here ever since. In his late twenties he began to feel a desire for the Christian ministry. While being cultivated under the auspices of the Grace elders (and with the gracious assistance of the Reformed Baptist Seminary), this developed into a pursuit of the pastorate; He was ordained to the eldership in April of 2019.
