Getting Involved
We want to help you "feel at home" while you get to know us and determine if this fellowship is part of God’s plan for your life and service to Him. We believe that one of the greatest blessings that God gives us, after salvation, is the joy of participating in a church family.
In the activities on this page you will be able to connect with our members and learn some of our stories. The details can be filled in and will become clearer as we share life and ministry together in this place. It is our conviction that the sweetest fellowship among people comes not as we pursue fellowship, for its own sake, but rather as we are drawn together by working toward the same goals. At Grace Fellowship our shared purpose is to worship and glorify our Savior and make His Gospel known to all in our sphere of influence.
Just like any family we have our "quirks" but our love for Jesus extends to love for His followers and all men. We are growing in grace and our hope is to be transformed as we learn His Word and apply its truths to our lives with the help of His Spirit. Our aim in preaching, teaching, and listening is to be changed so that we can be used of God to bless others. Our meetings seek to focus on God and on learning how to love and serve Him and our neighbors better. We have been blessed to recognize that dying to ourselves for His sake is the only way to truly experience the life God intends for us. None of us are perfect, but by God’s grace we have come to know a perfect Savior. We commend Him to you. We invite all to join with us and with all who regularly gather here – for our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, Whom to know is life eternal and fullness of joy! (I John 1:1-4).
Worship and Bible Study for everyone. See When We Meet
Music Ministries – our choir meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm to practice and prepare for special musical events. These have included Cantatas at Christmas and Easter. We have quartets and other vocal ensembles that get together for fun and special services. Our musical tastes range from traditional hymns and “contemporary” praise to “shape notes” singing.
Youth Ministries – Our youth are active in serving the Lord and others. They do service projects and enjoy fellowship and Bible study with the direction of Pastor Scott Kamps.
Sunday Night Fellowship Meals – join an elder group for fellowship and service in providing church wide meal and clean up; each group serves one Sunday each month.
Rather than being “program/church building oriented” we want to equip on our families in serving the Lord through hospitality in their normal routines and contacts in life. If we can help you find ways to utilize your home for Christ let us know. Hosting or joining with your neighbors or friends for Bible study or video events are good ways to get connected. See the Announcements or Events for current opportunities.
